On offer is an iron hand tool used for shaping horses hoofs. The tool has a sharp edged blade with the other side being struck by a hammer. It comes from a farm in the Orange, NSW district, about 160mm long and is in good condition.

I have now been told that the tool is called a "Clinch Cutter" used by farriers to cut the clinched nails in order to remove the old horse shoes.
