This Jacobean-style sideboard has been in our family since the 1920s and we believe it may be an original piece by Edmund Rosenstengel from that period. It features barley-twist legs and detailing on the backsplash plus extensive beading. It is structurally sound and beautifully constructed, but has been sadly neglected and abused for the past 20 years so needs some TLC. Small sections of beading are loose or missing and the finish is uneven in places - someone willing to put in the time and effort will be rewarded with a magnificent piece of furniture.
The sideboard measures 1400 mm wide, 480 mm deep, and 970 mm high, with the backsplash bringing the total height to 1200 mm. Any questions and inspections prior to purchase are welcome.
