Antique Jeweled Art 1920's Woman Boudoir Pillow Panel

Up for auction...a FABULOUS, authentic vintage or antique pillow case or pillow slip...........it's OLD!  However, I can't say for certain whether it is vintage or antique! I do know that it is certainly at least very vintage and ONE of A Kind!

It's made of linen, I believe....the fabric is a bit sheer.  This pillow case is sewn in a round circle, measuring approx. 17" in diameter including the 1.75" wide ruffle in the measurement. The ruffle was attached by machine.  All other stitching is a work of "art" and was totally created by hand.........I would say sometime during the 1920 to 1940's.  It looks like the woman's portrait was stamped onto the fabric or painted.   The face of the pillow has a blue background.  This elegant woman is holding a rose........her hair wasn't completed ......she wears a pearl ring, rhinestone bracelet and rinestone earrings!  The rhinestone bracelet is a bit floppy....the thread has worked loose.  Nylon black mesh netting drapes over the off shoulder dress she is wearing. I believe the term for this look is Art Deco or Nouveau?  I am thinking this pillow would look fabulous laying on a bed with an art deco, art nouveau or even a French Country Chic decor.  Just a bit of hair is needed to complete this pillow case.......and it's good to go!

I see no flaws in this item other than a few small holes from age and from having been in storage on the pillow's backside panel.

  This item has been stored in a smoke and pet free facility for many years, but I don't always know the history behind some of these things prior to it's being in my family's possession.
