Antique Meriden Silverplate Epergne Cut Engraved Crystal Vases

Offered is a beautiful Victorian era antique silverplate double epergne style vases in holder. This set is marked on the bottom "Meriden B Company, 163". This set measures 9" long, 8 3/4" tall and 4" wide. It has 2 cut crystal epergne vases with engraved flowers design and cut knotched edge rim. One vase has a chip on the rim and a chip on the fitter rim where the vase sits in the holder. The other vase has a crack on the lip edge with a chip. The silverplate holder is very ornate with a flower design on base. This is a very elegant old piece and would be a great addition to any collection. It is beautiful for display.

A: Hi, thanks for the question. Yes, both vases will hold water. The damage on both is at the top rim so it does not effect the ability to hold water.
