An absolutely stunning shell was used to create this small Edwardian swing basket. with a good shiny lustre showing off all the soft colours found in this highly sought-after shell.Beautifully crafted, the shell is cradled in solid English sterling silver supports and stands on a silver base; the swing handle is silver too; both the handle and base have matching hallmarks for Birmingham 1908.Excellent condition, measuring 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" and standing 3 3/4" tall to top of handle.
