Antique Oak 3 Drawer Leather Insert Writing Desk c1890.
Very pretty is this C Hindley & Sons, Oxford St London desk. The top right drawer has a stationery divider for all you bits and pieces in order.

The character developed over years of use is individual to each piece that we offer for sale. We will mention anything that we consider to be beyond the reasonable result of those years of use. View the photos and if there is anything that you need clarified please ask. Bumps and bruises to the timber consistent with age and use. During its life the leather insert has been replaced and a repair to the back leg has been undertaken. The original stationery drawer is complete, handles and castors are original.
Overall ~ Just gorgeous.

Over lifetimes of use each piece has developed its own character and patina which antique lovers expect as an integral aspect of age. Our photos and description are there to help you assess the item for sale but it is up to you to decide if the item is suitable for you. Our items are sold AS IS, and we therefore welcome inspection at our Smeaton Grange showrooms. We are 2 minutes from the Narellan Road exit from the M5, and 5 minutes from the centre of historic Camden. If you cannot inspect in person, please ask any questions before you bid, and if you are not satisfied of the suitability of the item for your purposes DO NOT BID as returns are not accepted on these items.
