 I have not placed handling fees on this purchase since this is a large package. You will only pay for shipping. Because of the original layer of fabric that I removed, I believe that this stool is from about 1880. However, because of the paint and new materials, I placed it into the newer category. This antique cast iron footed piano stool has been completely re-upholstered using all new materials. I removed seven layers of old fabric to recondition this piece. The filler is cotton which I believe to be more comfortable and keeps stable much longer than polyester. The ruffle is hand-sewn so if one prefers not to have it, it can be removed. In a completely lowered position, the top of the seat measures approximately 18" from the floor. It runs up another 4" for an overall height of 22." The seat measures approximately 14 1/2" square.

I try to use free/inexpensive packing materials so that I don't have to charge much for handling. I do my best to keep costs down and have an excellent record which reflects this. For items that I feel need to be insured, I will include insurance which is reflected in my handling fees. If you prefer not to have an item insured, I can reduce my handling fee, but you will have to contact me. I have never had an item broken and Delivery Confirmation has always tracked items that I've shipped.
I usually ship within a day of a completed sale. However, since there is no weekend shipping available (I generally ship USPS), it may take up to 4 days to ship an item.
I will only accept the return of an item if it has been improperly described.
I expect payment within 48 hours of the sale or a requested invoice. If you're not ready to pay for it, please don't bid on it.

The majority of the items we sell belong to us. Occasionally, I may sell an item that I take in and sell for a friend. My husband has been an accredited appraiser and we describe all items to the best of our ability. We have been able to maintain our high feedback due to our descriptions.
