Item Description:
This handsome antique Art Deco solid oak buffet sideboard features two drawers and a large cabinet. Its top surface has a minor age appropriate flaw on the finish though considering its age, 1930, it is in very good condition. The drawers operate smoothly and are well constructed with dovetail joinery. The right one has two dividers and it is felt lined, each one has carved wood handles. Between the drawers is a beautiful ornate carving as a centerpiece. The large cabinet has a warped shelf inside and though it is still useful as it is, it can be removed to suit your needs. The cabinet doors have a classic round raised beveled design on the front with lovely floral ornate carvings around it. They are quarter sawn and feature a lock mechanism with key. The left side of this server has a minor discoloration but it’s not distracting at all. It has strong carved feet. Overall this sideboard is very solid with a strong structure. It is as elegant as it is useful!
