Welcome to my auction. This radiogram dates from the 1940s I think and is in working order. I have been using it for 6 months or so. It plays records (has flip over needle for modern or old) and the radio works - no FM, sorry! As with all these old units, there is a bit of a background drone or hum to them. There is a reasonable nib out of the front left side - you would need some advice to mend if so inclined. The art deco look is my fav but it really doesn't work in my house. Located about 15 mins out of Geelong. I would be happy to deliver to Melb/Melb West for a reasonable fee as long as there was someone there to help unload.
Measurements: 770 high x 410 deep x 920 long
FYI
I hate missing out on something I want as it rarely appears again. Within my listings, I used to make a note of how many people were watching an item and post it to the description to help you. I found this information to be counter productive as some people would be scarred off by the sheer number of ‘watchers’ and never put a bid in. Often it would be down to one or two bidders with others missing out on a bargain. Basically, you can bet that if you are interested in something, then somebody else is too. If you wait till the dying moments to bid then you may not be near a computer or you may be beaten by a more savvy bidder who goes straight to their maximum bid leaving you chasing them in the dying moments only to be left empty handed. What a waste of your time. Others bid early and then think that because no-one else is bidding that no-one else is interested and don’t put in their highest bid or lose the item in the dying moments or forget to check - me. Good advice is to always put in your highest bid straight away and then forget about it. Don’t start bidding in the dying moments for something you want to buy. Good luck
