Antique Vintage Child's Desk Solid Wood Charming Patina 

Circa 1900s Rustic Old Schoolboy's Desk w/ 4 Drawers Shabby Chic

Measurements: 

91 cm (36") - wide

This is a very charming old antique child's desk, made from solid wood in the early part of the 20th century. The desk-top area measures 910 mm x 500 mm and the desk stands 685 mm high. It is in very good condition, with some lovely patination to the top, with the culmination of many decades of wear, scratches, and marks. There is lots of small, and obviously very old, edge wear, with chipped edges & scratches on the desk top, the legs, around the drawers, etc. There are 4 drawers. There are also signs of coloured pencils/paints/crayons, staining the bottoms of some of the drawers. And some concerted groove-work, carried out on the top edges of some of the drawers. This desk however, has been very well built, and is a very solid piece of study furniture. 

If you are looking for a new desk for your kids, then this desk is not for you! If however, you are interested in a small desk which is obviously old, and full of character, charm and history, and has antique value, then this could well be a very sound investment!

Note: This is only available to be picked-up, and is sold as is. Inspections can be arranged. The item is in the Sydney metropoliatan area (not far from Strathfield). I also welcome anyone who would like to organize a removalist, to collect the item & have it delivered interstate.
