Apple PowerBook G4! Titanium!
Up for auction is an awesome 15-inch Apple Titanium PowerBook G4 (also known as the Ti Book) with a more than capable 1Ghz processor and 256MB RAM. Best of all, itís got a DVD burner!
The battery is in really good condition. This is a replacement battery bought a couple years ago and it still lasts up to 3 hours depending on what youíre doing.
The Ti-Book is in good condition considering itís age - the hinges allow the screen to open and close really well but the left hinge (whereís itís attached to the bottom panel) has a crack. Best to open the lid with care. There is also a superficial crack on the bottom left and right hand corner as well as the normal paint chips around all sides (including the bottom corners, near the DVD burner and the back near the hinges). The screen panel has slight buckling on the right hand side but this doesnít affect the screen. The lid also doesnít lock most of the time - the magnet is not as strong as it used to be.
The screen has permanent marks from the keyboard. Iíve tried wiping them off but unfortunately it looks like they wonít budge. Perhaps you can clean them off?? The marks are not as obvious on dark backgrounds.
Mac OS X 10.5.6 Leopard is installed as well as Microsoft Office 2008 (Microsoft Entourage, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, MSN Messenger), Roxio Toast Titanium10, iLife í08 (GarageBand, iMovie, iTunes, iDVD, iPhoto, iWeb), iWork í09 (Pages, Numbers, Keynote).
