The Hydro-Sponge Filter is specially designed to increase the filtering capacity.
This Sponge Filter can be used for sea water tank, fresh water tank and water weeds tank.
It provides both mechanical and biological filtration.
Aerobic bacteria colonize the sponge providing a bacterial substance to facilitate the nitrogen cycle.
The Filter traps waste particles mechanically cleaning the water without trapping the baby fish.

It is made with a hydrophilic high-quality sponge material and the holes are interconnected.
The multi-stratum structure design results in a wide surface area for filtering and best growth of nitrifying bacteria.
The special air cell makes multiple minute bubbles, increasing dissolved oxygen and there is no noise when operating. 
The lift tube allows the use of Power head without adapters, increasing their versatility.
