Cohr Silver
The set is in the pattern called Ambrosius and can be seen below.
Ambrosius silver plate cutlery
The main dinner pieces; forks and spoons plus jam spoon, meat forks server and bottle opener are in very good condition with highly reflective surfaces. There are many fine scratches from use but no silver plate loss. The back of the fork tines have some deeper scratches but no wear to the silver. There are two tiny pin prick size dark spots to two of the large spoons.
The cake forks, ladle and large serving spoon have more scratches from over zealous cleaning and have a satin finish as a result. There are also some stubborn tarnish smudges here and there. The knives have handles in very good condition but three of the blades have some marks to the stainless steel I cannot remove. The two worst are shown.
In spite of all that I have mentioned this set presents very well and would grace any table with style and elegance.
The set weighs 1.65kilos.
