Art Deco silver plate little boy baby rattle

This lovely piece is in good condition.

The rattle is marked to the back with a Registered Design number of 730680, indicating the design was first used in 1927. The little figure is typical of the era with chubby features, curled hair and little strap shoes. The piece is silver lated and marked EPNS.

There is some wear to the silver plating to the high spots and the seams to the inner legs have spread a little. The back of the jacket has some small dents as can be seen. There are no other dents. There are no repairs or damage.

The piece has a large silver loop to the top which is secured by a rounded top pin so it will not open. I imagine this was attached to a ribbon.

The rattle is 60mm to the top of the head.

For North American users a handy guide is 25mm or 2.5cm is a little less than 1 inch, so 100mm or 10cm is just less than 4 inches.
