An art deco era display plate in the Florentine shape by Crown Ducal circa 1932 from the bar series "One On The House" in a gorgeous rich creamy glaze. Bob Dean is the signature of the artist of the whimsical scene from times gone by ~ and in the manner of Doulton Dickens series collector plates.

No damage, no useage marks to the centre & crazed on both sides ~ this, you should be able to see in the photos above. When rapped with the knuckles the plate is sound enough, but does have a dead rap in one spot just off centre. The edges are bordered in relief with berries, fruit & flowers early 20th Century style. A marvelous piece despite the crazing. No fleabites, cracks or chips.
