The ASUS G2S-B2 is a powerful 17-inch desktop replacement notebook. The system is powered by a high end Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 dual core mobile processor that can power through applications. This is teamed up with three gigabytes of PC2-5300 DDR2 memory to prevent applications from requiring much virtual memory. ASUS also includes one gigabyte of Turbo Memory on the motherboard to work with Vista's ReadyBoost acceleration feature.

The hard drive features a blazingly fast 7200rpm spin rate to give it outstanding ready and write performance. If that isn't enough, there is a USB port on the back that can also be used as an external SATA connector for high performance eSATA storage options.

It also comes with a dual layer DVD burner for handling playback and recording of CDs and DVDs.

Featuring a highlighted gaming keyboard, OLED (LED live information updates), and premium sound, the G2S is built to satisfy gamers and anyone else requiring speed and power.
