Functions of this adaptor:
1. You can use all type of earpieces with 3.5mm connector on Yaesu VX-6R and VX-7R. Saving the cost on buying additional earpieces.
2. You can use Yaesu programming cable with 3.5mm connector on Yaesu VX-6R and VX-7R. Saving the cost on buying additional programming cables.
