Australia SA LOBETHAL Wool Mill 1913 postcard KANMANTOO

TITLE : Woollen Mills at Lobethal, S. Australia (upper front). CONDITION : GOOD - Some corner rounding and minor crease of lower right. Minor spotting on front and rear. Overall display is lovely in tones of blue/black with a MATT finish. PUBLISHER : Printed in Germany for H R James, Wholesale only, Stephens Place, Adelaide (on rear). COMMENTS : Postally USED and hand written message on DIVIDED back. This is a glorious black and white photo that has been blue tinted. Two CHILDREN stand at the gate entrance to the mills with CHIMNEY and BUSH in background. KANMANTOO postmark cds (4 Apr 1913) on SA 1d Red (nice strike on card and second readable strike on stamp itself. This is a rare early image and a great postcard!
