Why our Outdoor Shearer's UGG boots are so SPECIAL
Because they are individually hand crafted in Australia from 100% luxurious Australian Double Faced Merino Sheepskin. Featuring molded rubber lug outsole designed for greater traction and durability. This outdoor sole is very flexible and extremely supportive, resistant to cold: up to -40 degrees. Sidewall stitch construction for maximum durability. Toe and heel are reinforced by double stitched cowhide bumpers for abrasion resistance. These sheepskin boots are incredibly comfortable, as the sheepskin is providing excellent insulation against the cold, but also absorbs excessive moisture while letting your feet breath.

About UGGs
| UGG means Australian Sheepskin Boots. Ugg boots became popular among shearers in the 1920s. The shearers sheared the sheep and grabbed a bit of dead sheep, wrapped it around their feet and called them "UGLY BOOTS". Good old Australian slang shortened SHEARERS' UGLY BOOTS to UGG boots. Thus ugg boots dated back as far as the 1920s in Australia. |

 |
UGG boots became so popular because of the amazing amount of comfort they bring to the feet. The sheepskin is made incredibly soft so the boots are cozy and snug. UGG boots feel more like socks than shoes, yet they are tough enough for outdoor wear. The unique, fleece foot-beds take the shape of the natural contours of each wearer’s feet, creating personalized arch supports. |
| We can also wear UGG boots in cold weather or summer. In cold weather, the plush fleece of UGG boots provides an insulating layer of warmth by trapping your body heat. In the heat of summer, the natural fibres of the fleece will actually cool your feet by wicking away perspiration. UGG boots are made to be worn barefoot to maximize the cushioning and warmth provided by the sheepskin. |

How to select the correct size for your UGG boots?
 |
For a good fit, we recommend an initial tight fit because new sheepskin will stretch and wool will compress after wear. Since sheepskin breathes, boots should be sized for bare feet. If you wish to wear socks you may need to take one size larger.
Our boot sizes are 4/5, 6/7, 8/9, 10/11, and 12/13. They are 2 sizes in 1, because the wool in the boots takes up space, and the sheepskin will stretch to fit both specified sizes, choose carefully and these boots will fit you perfectly.
Please refer to our measurement chart below for size selection: |
| Sizes |
Bare foot |
| 2/3 |
20-22 cm (7.87"-8.66") |
| 4/5 |
22.5-24 cm (8.86"-9.45") |
| 6/7 |
24.5-25.5 cm (9.65"-10.04") |
| 8/9 |
26-27.5 cm (10.24"-10.83") |
| 10/11 |
28-29 cm (11.02"-11.42") |
| 12/13 |
29.5-30.5 cm (11.61"-12.01") |
To select the right size, follow the steps below:
 |
1. Draw a straight line, longer than your foot, on a piece of paper. 2. Place the paper on a flat surface. Stand on the line with your heel and longest toe centered on the line. If measuring a child's foot, it may be easier to hold the paper up to their foot. 3. Place a mark on the line at the tip of the longest toe and at the back of the heel. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the other foot. 5. Measure the distance between the marks. Taking the larger of the two measurements, use the conversion chart to find your correct shoe size. For example, if your bare foot measures 24.5cm then you should order size 6/7. If your bare foot measurment falls between the 2 sizes, it is usually best to order the next size up. |
How to care for your UGG boots?
DO NOT PULL the boots onto your feet, but instead place the boots upright on the floor and push your feet into them. Your UGG boots are made from sheepskin, which is naturally resistant to small amounts of water. If you avoid wading through deep puddles or trekking through mud, your ugg boots will last a long time. It never hurts to give ugg boots an occasional gentle brushing with a soft cloth or suede or nubuck brush. This will loosen any dust or small amounts of dirt that might have attached to the boot during the course of the day. Brush your boots in one direction only. When not wearing your ugg boots, keep them in a dry place, as you would with any shoes. If nothing obstructs the opening of the boots, they will air out on their own. Next time you slip your UGG boots on, they will feel and look as great as ever.
Cleaning the Ugg Boots
One reason UGG boots look and feel wonderful is the sheepskin used to make each pair. Sheepskin is a material that should be cleaned gently. UGG boots should never be put in a washing machine or a dryer. Hand-wash your ugg boots in a warm water, using an approved wool detergent. You can use a soft brush for scrapping. To dry, place your UGG boots in the shade, away from heat or direct sunlight and allow drying out slowly to retain the soft, supple finish. Sheepskin footwear does shrink slightly after drying out, but will get back to normal after just a few wears. Once the boot is dry, lightly brush the cleaned area with a suede or nubuck brush. Brush in one direction only. If you follow these directions, your UGG boots will look fantastic for years to come.
Removing stains
If you have a grease stain on your footwear, use a razor or sharp knife to scrub some powder from a white chalk over the stain, leave it for a few minutes. Then blow away the access chalk and with your hand, gently rub the stain. Repeat this a few times until the stain has almost disappeared. For extremely tough stains you can gently rub the stain with sandpaper but beware that this may take the color away.
Removing Rain Spots
Sometimes you can get what we call "spotting" where the footwear have come into contact with a few drops of water. You can usually eliminate this by folding the footwear onto itself, that is skin against skin, and gently rub it together.
