This painting represents the ceremonial body paint worn on the bodies of the women of the region during ceremonies and the bush melon which was an important food source for the people of the region.

Betty is the daughter of the acclaimed Artist Minnie Pwerle (deceased) and is sister to acclaimed Artist Barbara Weir. Betty's Dreamings include: Awelye, Bush Melon, Bush Berry and Bush Plum. This painting is a colourful representation of Awelye (body paint) and Bush Melon.

This painting will be sent unstretched in a tube. Full transit insurance is included in the postage charge. For security, documentation including a Certificate of Authenticity, a tax invoice and hard copy photograph(s) will be sent seperately by registered post.
