Aynsley Flow Blue Gilded Trio
Description: An absolutely beautiful trio, made by John Aynsley & Sons, at their Portland works in Staffordshire. Each piece carries their 1891 back stamp, which was their first stamp after the word 'England' was added.
Condition: The trio is in superb condition, free from chips, cracks and crazing. The pattern is absolutely tip top, showing no fading or dullness. The rich gilding is still in good order, showing wear commensurate to its 115+ years.
Size: The 14-flute cup stands 5.5cms tall and measures 9cms across. The scalloped saucer has a diameter of 14cms and the matching side plate measures 17cms across.
Decor: Each piece has been beautifully decorated, with cobalt blue flowers and other flora on each of the scalloped pieces. Where the cobalt blue meets the white background, a gilded snow has been sprinkled, giving an elegant richness to each piece.
This is a beautiful trio, it's over 115 years old and still in very good condition.

Please Note:
Most of our items are antique, vintage and/or used. They are very often in a condition less than perfectly new. If you require item to be in pristine new condition, then you should probably buy from an antique store where you can inspect them personally.
Many Victorian items are without a back mark. I am not an antiques dealer, but try to be as accurate as possible in all of my listings. I research makers and time of manufacture in purpose bought reference books as much as time allows. However if you are unsure or don't understand what you're looking at, then it's best if you don't bid.
NB: I try very hard to be as accurate as possible, but I do not use callipers. All measurements stated should be taken as approximates.
Don't forget to notify me of your purchase via the checkout function. My banking details can be found there also.
Paypal is the only method of payment for international buyers.
Please take the time to give feedback, but if there are any problems be sure to discuss it before leaving negative feedback. This is after all supposed to be a pleasant experience.
