AYNSLEY EGG CUP

ITEM: A small (bantam egg size!) bone china egg cup from the English pottery firm, Aynsley .

DESCRIPTION: A continuous floral pattern around the top half of the egg cup with green trim around the top rim and also the base. The pattern is on a white ground, but the top half has a cream background. Bright colours of blue, red, yellow, green and brown.Please refer to photo as this forms part of the description.

SIZE : Height is approx 4.25cms (1 5/8 inches) 3.5cms diameter (1 3/8 inches) across the top.The body of the cup is slightly bulbous.

CONDITION: No chips, cracks or crazing. Very slight wear to the green trim around the rim. Overall, in nicely preserved condition in my opinion.

AGE: Unknown

MARKINGS: The underside has the Aynsley crown stamp and "Bone China" and "England" all in green.

GENERAL: A cute little egg cup from a quality manufacturer. Smaller than usual and takes up little space.

POSTAGE & HANDLING: Within Australia, regular post is $6.00. Item will be securely wrapped in bubblewrap to ensure safe transit.
