Gina Lollobrigida and James Mason conspire in this superb comedy/western to con the Mexican government out of a million dollars employing along the way the services of an apparently hapless gang led by Lee Van Cleef. However there is no safe that can’t be blown and in their pursuit of further riches the marauding gang stumble their way from bank to bank but the real goal is the Mexican Government and the $1,000,000 but the Mexican Army and the Revolutionaries have their own ideas about how events will unfold.
