BAKELITE RADIO - Hotpoint - Cream / Red-Brown - 1950's - Australian Presented here is a fantastic Bakelite Radio from the early 1950's in a deep Red-Brown and Cream colour mix. This Hotpoint model (P75MA) is a portable valve unit with 5 valve configuration. The wiring internally appears sound; all valves, battery connectors and other components are present. This radio uses 2 x 4.5 Volt + 1 x 1.5 Volt batteries. Valve line up 1T4, 1R5, 1T4, 1S5, 3V4 I have not tested this radio. PHOTO: Please view the photo(s) as it forms part of the item description. ITEM SIZE: 33cm (13 inch) Wide x 22cm (8 3/4 inch) Tall x 15cm (6 inch) Deep. DATE: 1954 CONDITION: Very good with no chips or repairs. Small amount of minor scuffing to body at back and on bottom (see picks). There are a couple of very fine short cracks beginning on front cream panel (see small dark lines) otherwise no other cracking to body. There is also a small burn mark to clear cover over station panel. POSTAGE & HANDLINGI will combine purchases for a reduced postage rate whenever possible.
