This is an Interesting Unframed Original watercolour Painting by Australian listed Artist, WILLIAM HENRY SHORT, JNR. It is signed lower left with initials "WS", and was painted around 1940. It shows a  lovely painting of a "STEAMER SHIP OFF PORTSEA", in Victoria.

SHORT, William Henry (b 1879, d 1947). Son of Will Short Snr, and Grandson of Henry Short. He studied under his father, and briefly in Tasmania. A painter of Still Lifes, landscapes and Seascapes, he had his first Exhibition in Melbourne before WW1. His work is in many Gallery and Private Collections in Australia, and the UK

It is in Good Condition, on art paper, and measures 12 1/4 inch by 6 3/4 inch, (31.1cm x 17.1cm).
