This is a new basketball hoop, backboard & pole. We have had it for a couple of years & pulled it out of the shed to install it monthsago & have since changed our minds, my teenage boy has lost interest & our 4 year old is years off using it. So it is new, I think is was at least $200 new but the box has been rained on many times & now looks way less than new. of course the contents are made to be weatherproof so there's no damage to anything but you should know this doesn't look like it does in the photo anymore. If you care about what the box looks like send me a line, I can take a photo for you. The pole needs to be cemented in, it's not freestanding. It's a good quality item.
This item is pick up only from Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. I'd like it picked up this weekend but if you are unable to do that then I am happy to wait for when it is convenient for you, bu in that case I'd like payment to my account within 3 days of the auction end. If it helps, we are going to Newtown & Oatley this Sunday, we won't have time to deliver it but you are welcome to arrange a meeting point. We are helping family move house so you will need to work in with us.

I use the absolute cheapest form of postage at all times. I only use prepaid satchels if they are definitely the cheapest way of getting your parcel to you. I post small items in large envelopes, not in prepaid satchels. I only post about once a week, usually on Mondays. I have two preschoolers so getting out can be tricky some days. If you are in a hurry for your parcel please let me know & I'll see what I can do but please ask BEFORE bidding if you need it by a certain date as I may not be able to meet your request. PLEASE DON'T BID ON MY AUCTIONS IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO WAIT AT LEAST A WEEK FOR YOUR ITEM. You may get it faster (most likely) but I am very tired of people hassling me & leaving bad feedback when their item takes "too long" to arrive. I post once a week, if I get a payment on a Monday afternoon & I posted that morning then I usually won't post until the following Monday. It may then take 3 or 4 days to reach you. I sometimes also have things turn pear shape on my posting day & it ends up being delayed until the next day. I have 4 kids & between them all they take up a lot of my time & anyone with kids knows that things simply don't always go as planned. If you can't accept this wait & be patient during this time please don't bid. Thanks for your understanding in advance.
I cannot be responsible for your parcel once it has been posted. I am happy to arrange for insurance at your request. Please don't ask for a replacement or a refund when an item doesn't turn up within a certain time. I have had less than 5 parcels go missing in 4 years of selling, it is extremely rare but it does happen. Most people ask for a refund & then receive the parcel some time later which wastes both their time & mine with lengthy emails. If your parcel does go missing (which is extremely unlikely) I WILL NOT REFUND OR REPLACE YOUR ITEM. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO INSURE IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF LOSS IN THE POST.
