Available for purchase is my lovely faithful 17 inch Bates Caprilli saddle made by Bates Australia in Perth.

This saddle is in very good condition and is approx. 24-26 years old from memory.

It has been repacked and the short points have been replaced also.

There are still many good rides to be had in this saddle- we are only selling it because we now ride in stock saddles.

The saddle is being sold unmounted, although I can throw in a set of nickle plate irons & grips if you'd like them.

I estimate postage will cost between $20 ot $35 depending on your destination from Qld. Will be posted registered mail for peace of mind.

 Q: hi what size is the gullet? what kind/size of horses have you had it on, do you think it would fit a 3 year old 15.3 tb ? she is round with no withers. Thanx jo
A: Hi Jo. We have used this saddle on 3 of our horses- one is TB- 17.3hh, one is Arab- 15.1hh and the other is a Standard Bred- 15.3hh. We have never had back problems with this saddle on any of these horses. Not sure on the... Continue reading
