A definitive comprehensive collection of the Beatles materials recorded specifically for monoral releases! The set contains the original mono-mixes of the 10 albums, with a double-disc "Mono Masters" (i.e. "Past Masters" a-la mono mixing). The mono-versions of "Help!" and "Rubber Soul" will include the original stereo mixes back in 1965 that have never been issued on CD. All of the mono titles will bear a perfect replica of the original packaging, and in paper sleeves! The titles will be available as the box set only. The remastering work took 4 years at EMI Abbey Road Studio in London. It was done with utmost caution, utilizing both the cutting-edge recording technology and vintage studio equipment in the best way possible. Clicking sounds and rough edges of the vocals were corrected so carefully as not to deteriorate the original image, and so was the usual noise reduction that is usually applied in the remastering process. Numerous checks took place among the recording members over an extensive period of time, until all of them agreed with the quality of production. Consequently the remasters sound the closest ever to the original sound.
