BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE TASMANIAN BLACKWOOD DRESSING TABLE

900mm wide x 470mm deep x 850mm high to the dressing table top (and 1530mm high to the top of the mirror).

The dressing table was purchased by the seller in Hobart, but has since moved to Noosa Heads, QLD.

The style is most likely late Victorian or Art Nouveau perhaps. It's a very functional antique with a beautiful patina.

There are 6 drawers all with matching wooden handles. The 4 lower drawers all have the original locks and brass key holes, but I do not have the key unfortunately. There were no locks fitted to the 2 upper drawers. All the drawers slide very easily.

There is some very minor spoiling on the back of the mirror and one typical lengthwise crack in each side panel (see photo). There is also one lengthwise crack in the top just below the mirror and between the small drawers. The right hand top glove/jewellery drawer has a small perfume bottle mark, but hardly noticeable. There are a few very minor scratches, but overall it is a beautifully finished dressing table, well made and well cared for.

I'm sure that you would be very happy with this.
