    We are very proud to be able offer a Belman Albatross Custom, check out the shots, this is a ripper and a very rare one too. I have included our website shot also.( excuse the glare...it's a beautiful gloss finish but hard to take shots.)

    Belman Guitars was based in Thomastown, Victoria officially started production in 1994 by Anthony Bell and Craig Manger (Bel-Man....geddit ?) after a highly creditialled history in guitar/bass repair that morphed into fully blown Custom Guitar production, hence Belman Guitars.

   Belman Guitars were to produce a stunning range of custom guitars, sought after by many of Australia's top studio and live musicians until production ceased in 2007.

   This Albatross Custom features a highly figured matched carved top with a transluscent blue nitro finish, gold hardware, stop tail & tune-o-matic style bridge. The body is a healthy uniform 53m in depth with tasty single-ply wood binding on the top. It's a  set-neck construction, rosewood board, 22 frets, abalone stylized trapezoid inlays, measuring 43mm at the nut and is loaded with a couple of Belman Humbuckers. Controls are straight forward...volume, volume & tone with a 3 way pickup selector. The tuners are 3-a-side Sperzels with wooden keys.

  The guitar is professionally set up with 10-46 and is playing beautifully. As you would expect the guitar has been played, but obviously very carefully as it is showing only very light normal playing wear, mostly lacquer scratches on the back of the body. In general the guitar is very clean, except regarding the aforementioned lacquer marks and comes supplied with its OHSC.
