Alan McCartney handcrafts a large range of belt pouches and sporrans right here in Australia using premium Australian and New Zealand leathers under the brand name of niftynotions .
With over 35 years experience he selects leathers that are comfortable and durable to suit his designs. Too many pouches on the market are so "boardy" that you can barely open them. Most of these are made in Pakistan or India even though they are sold in the UK, USA as well as Australia.
We choose to wholesale direct to the public rather than supply shops as it gives Al greater freedom to try out new designs.
