Bernard Moore flambe vase.

Magnificent example with decoration in the round.

Stunning globular vase in a flambe glaze with carp and vegetation decoration.

This Bernard Moore vase is from a slightly later period but is of a good size and superbly decorated.

The carp are silver lustre and the combination of this plus the deep red weeds and red-brown background give this a magical feeling. The overall effect is heightened with air bubbles that float to the surface, near the neck.

A tankful of fish without the feeding.

(Please ignore the white spots and the horizontal white lines. These are reflections of the lights and shelving).

Description	Globular vase in porcelain? wit a flambe glaze and decoration of carp & river vegetation.
Condition	Good condition. No chips or cracks. There is a small surface scratch near the neck and there is a little crazing to the surface, visible under strong light.
Marks	Signed to the base.
Circa	1st quarter 20th century.
Size	140mm high and aproximately 140mm in diameter.
