Bhut Jolkia chilli has been confirmed  with Guiness Book Of World Records as the worlds hottest pepper. The previous champion was the Red Savina Habanero which  was at 577,000 scoville. Bhut Jolokia come in at 1,001,304 scoville heat. Guaranteed  to blow your head off.  (warning please handle with care very hot)
