Made in the U.S.A. these are the famous rider back bicycle cards with air cushion finish. Favoured by poker players and magicians alike! If you're serious about playing cards, whether it be just a family game or the big gambling cards night with your mates, high quality cards are a must. Bicycle means " easy to shuffle, great texture, durable cards, high quality, playing with the best!" The famous Bicycle 808's A Brief History of the 808's In 1885, Russell & Morgan Printing Co. (laster became the US Playing Card Co.) introduced their famous Bicycle playing cards. These cards were not only a huge success, but became the best known brand in the world. They started with one back, called the Old Fan, and came in red or blue. Since then, there has been at least 82 different back designs. Many did not last long and the Old Fan was dropped in 1894. During this same period, cycling ? on unicycles, bicycles, and tricycles ? was taking the country by storm. It was also in the latter part of the decade that Russell & Morgan decided to produce a line of cards of the highest quality. Employees were asked to suggest an attractive name for the new product, and a printer, "Gus" Berens, offered "Bicycle." His idea was enthusiastically accepted, and the Rider Back made its debut in 1887. Since then, the Rider Back has never gone out of production. Product Features:
