Heavy detailed tiger sculpture in real hot cast metal with a bronze finish...probably cast iron?. Highly detailed with stripes and naturalistic fur. Tickle him under the chin and he might even purr!! All cast in one section this statue is mounted on a well sculpted carved base of rocks and logs.

Of interest to collectors of French 19th century "animalier" sculptures, along the lines of artist like Mene. No signature or foundry makes that we can find to date this by. However expect a final value in excess of $2,000.
