Rocking Toronto-based quartet Billy Talent have captured their crazy onstage antics on “666” the new DVD/CD featuring highlights from the band’s world tour in support of their album Billy Talent II.
The live DVD / CD, “666”, chronicles three of Billy Talent’s biggest European concerts in the past eighteen months as well as giving fans unique insights through band interviews and bonus material.
Filmed and produced by the award-winning Pierre and Francois Lamoureux of FogoLabs (The Who, Tragically Hip, Alanis Morrisette), the DVD portion of “666” includes 6 songs from each of the remarkable shows the band played at the Brixton Academy in London, Philipshalle in Düsseldorf, Germany and the unbelievable Rock Am Ring Festival in Nürburgring, Germany, where the band played in front of an audience estimated in excess of 80,000 people! The second disc is the audio portion of the entire Düsseldorf concert.
Their boisterous riffs and screaming enthusiasm have foundations in solid rock. Unique yet completely accessible, front man Ben Kowalewicz's poignant lyrics tell many stories. From drug addiction to unfaithful lovers. Live, Billy Talent are a force to be reckoned with.
