This is a excellent quality toile import, brand new fabric, extra wide at 144 cm off the bolt and a selvedge,  just on one edge, its appearance is much better than the photos which were photographed inside without a flash to better capture the colour.  

The colour of the print is a charcoal black and the background resembles a raw linen in texture and  in colour and it has a slight grainy texture which makes it look like an antique textile .  It's content is 87% cotton and 13% rayon but you wouldnt know it had rayon in it. The pattern repeat is 64 cm horizontal and 51 cm vertical.

It is suitable for cushions, drapery, light to medium wear upholstery applications, tote bags, lampshades, quilting bedding etc, would make a lovely bed head.
