"Blood Royale is a game of treachery, double-dealing, power politics and open warfare. The air of the game is to become the wealthies ruling family in 13th century Europe and the means of aining that wealth are the Princes and daughters of your Dynasty and the armies they control."
"A comprehensive and well illustrated set of rules - based on a set of simple core rules, fully detailedwith examples and clarifications allows you to control all the affairs of your Dynasty. You will arrange marriages for you childre, to make alliances and secure deals. You will tax the peole of your Kingdom, control their trade and find your financial fortunes ebbing and flowing as event take their toll. And you will fight wars against your enemies, to protect you homelands and to take theirs.
Blood Royal is a role-playing game, a board game, a simulation game and a wargame.
Includes: six piece, full colour board, featuring a map of 13th century Europe.
29 plastic playing pieces, to represent Kings and Princes.
Over 200 counters to show armies, famines, rebillions and trade goods.
A heap of coins
A pad of bearerbonds to represent high denomination.
2 pads of character sheets to record individual characters
A pad of marriage contracts on which treaties are recorded
