| Warning |
- When
tying the climbing rope to your harness,
always tie it to the waistbelt tie-in
loop and leg loop cross piece correctly.
- When
using belay and rappel devices, they
should only be attached to the belay
loop.
- Harness
gear loops will not hold a climbers
weight. Never attach yourself by the
gear loops to your belay anchors, climbing
rope, rappel device while rappelling
or to your jumars while jumaring.
- A
plastic haul loop will not hold a climbers
weight. Never attach yourself to your
belay anchors or to your climbing rope
by the haul loop.
- A
webbing haul loop, while full strength
(>15KN), is only intended as an
attachment point for a trail rope.
Never attach yourself to your belay
anchors or to your climbing rope by
the haul loop.
- Always
read the instructions and warnings
that accompany your gear.
