The eco5200's main improvement over its predecessor is the inclusion of a digital answering system. That's right, no need for a personal secretary; all messages are saved to flash memory, which will even keep the messages in the event of a power failure. It also boasts hands-free speakerphone so you don't accidentally drop the handset in your butternut pumpkin soup, as well as a phone book with room for up to 50 entries.

Worried about telemarketers or phone surveyors besmirching your good name and interrupting your affairs? Worry not, with Caller ID displaying name and number information you can stay one step ahead.
