BRAND NEW - Sony HD Mini-Disc Walkman MZ-NH1
This Sony MD player has never been used and was kept always in its original box with a small satchel of 'Dry-Pak' in a non-smoker apartment.
I believe that I don't have to explain to much about this great little music player/recorder as most people interested nowadays in buying a Mini-Disc player know exactly what they are after. This machine not only plays music in a variety of formats and compression rates it also allows you to record sound/music from a number of sources. I often record music directly from internet radio stations or www.last.fm to my other MD player. This Sony MZ-NH1 is of superb build quality and from my knowledge is the smallest ever build Mini-Disc player/recorder. You can get smaller MD players but they are usally "player only". For general music listening you can fit around 30 CD's on one HD 1GB disc when using Atrac compression. For maximum quality recording of live concerts or ambient sound you have the option of using Linear PCM, which basically is CD quality.
I am selling this unit because I own a second Sony MD player. The item for sale I bought at a time where it seemed that Sony would abandon the Mini-Disc market. So I bought this SONY MZ-NH1 as a back-up player in case my other player would fault. Well now that I believe that Sony will keep on making Mini-Disc player for the foreseeable future I don't mind parting from this great little player/recorder.
Of course all the original cables and software needed for connecting this Mini-Disc player to your PC (not MAC compatible) are included. It goes of course without saying that the headphones are unused.
