Taking it to the next level of distinguished VHF marine radios, the Uniden UM625C knows what's hot and shuns everything that's not.  You'll marvel at features you never thought could possibly fit in one device - large LCD display with oversized icons, powerful hailer and intercom receivers and access to all maritime channels (INT, USA and CAN).

 

The UM625C supports NMEA 0183 connections to external chart plotters and devices, and can display position, date/time and speed.  It's also a Class-D DSC device, so you can send and receive DSC calls, requests for GPS positional data of other vessels, and can keep a directory of every known DSC-equipped vessel.  The UM625C is capable of 25 watts of raw transmitting power, which along with its excellent receiver performance (~85dB intermod nominal) results in a radio to be reckoned with.

 

But reckon I shall, only so that I can also inform you of the equipped Dual Zone 2x30W Loud Hailer so you can have 2 hailer horns selected independently or together - it even comes with a full featured intercom complete with preprogrammed fog signals.  Another dramatic feature of the UM625c is the integration of Uniden's own WHAMx4 remote system, allowing you to add up to 4 remotes to act as intercom stations.  These WHAMx4 remotes are even capable of remote control of the main base station, including DSC, transmit, channel selection, radio modes and more.
