This is a beautiful brass statue to be treasured and respected.  He is a fat Buddha with a gentle peaceful smile.  Every Buddha portrays special meaning - This one has his left hand is on his knee and his right hand is clasping an implement.  In front of him is a large basket.  It is empty but a removable lid fits on top that can be used as an incense burner; up the right way it takes sticks, turn it over and it takes cones.  Behind Buddha is a large full sack and he is sitting comfortably against it.  His robes are open at the front revealing his chest and tummy.  He is traditionally crafted in India from thick brass and is very heavy at 965g.

 

Dimensions: Height 10cm, width 11.5cm, depth 9cm.

 

This Buddha has a lovely aura of divinity, wonderful for a meditation space or to enhance the harmony of the home.
