Absolutely beautiful brass fire guard to adorn the front of your Victorian or Federation fireplace.

This classically-styled piece is in excellent condition and sits on heavy brass claw feet.

As well as the intricate patterned brass fascia, this fireguard also has a flat metal half-base plate so that it can be used functionally if required to protect against burning logs or hot coals falling from your firegrate.

Dimensions are 1120mm long by 280mm high by 250mm deep.

NOTE: Cast iron fireplace and timber surround shown in these photos are NOT included in this auction. The actual fireplace and surround do however fit this lovely fireguard perfectly. They are being sold separately and will finish 15 minutes BEFORE  this auction is due to finish.
