Vintage Brass rope lock blocks very good quality and very good condition. I believe you pass your rope sheet through the block and the rope is locked or unlocked depending on which position the longer rope feeding eye is in.This means you can operate the block from a distance via the rope sheet.These units come complete with there brass mounting bolts.Text on each unit reads BRITISH PAT NO 599053 FOREIGN PATENTS PENDING company is S M P.

A: Hi tobermorey, the guide eyes measure 13.5mm maybee 14mm at a squeeze, so I suppose 13mm rope or half inch. Regards Dave
