"Matchsticks" Bromeliad

DESCRIPTION:

  • An attractive bromeliad which has blue/ pink flowers which last for several months. Plant dies after flowering but leaves behind new plants which flower the following year.
  • Flower spikes to 40 cm
  • Plants available are pups of plant pictured. approx 25 cm high.

CULTURE NOTES

  • Prefers part shade, avoid severe frosts
  • Requires composted organic matter, orchid mix type potting medium.
  • Hardy, propagates easily from offshoots.
