  • The BT600/150 is a corner mounted variant of the popular SA600/150. Room analysis revealed that the original SA600/150,when installed in a corner, functioned as an excellent bass trap, effective down to 40Hz.
  • The BT600/150 offers an excellent cost effective first stage of any acoustic treatment. Bass trapping should be the first stage of acoustic treatment in the typical project studio or home theatre
  • In a music production environment, bass accuracy is critical. If a room suffers from uncontrolled bass frequencies, this translates into significant "peaks" and "dips" in frequency response. Bass traps smooth low frequency response and reduce low frequency reverb times.
  • Typical thin acoustic treatments unfortunately have no effect on absorbing low frequencies, as the effectiveness of acoustic foam to absorb lower frequencies is directly related to thickness.For example, a good quality 50mm panel will have an AC of .2 (%20) at 200Hz compared to the BT600/150 with an AC of 1.0 (100%) at 200Hz. At 150mm thick, the BT600/150 offers true broadband absorption with performance approaching that of the SoundAcoustics BT120/80.
  • Installation can be either with a staple gun (utilising the patented staple channels), adhesive or easily hung on 3M removable hooks.
  • The BT600/150 is manufactured in Australia from high density combustion modified polyurethane acoustic foam and comes in the standard colour of charcoal grey
  • Research and testing takes place at RMIT Melbourne.
  • Factory warranty for 10 years.
