10-Sided Dice - Set of 4 - With Faces 0-9
EDUCATION SENSATION is pleased to present bulk set of 4* 10 sided dice. These great dice, with the faces 0-9, are perfect for numeracy teaching and maths games. We now offer some of our favourite maths games on CD, so be sure to check out our other listings.
As a stand-alone product these dice are also great for developing basic number skills. Some ways you can use them include:
Roll 1 die and:
- say the number
- say the number before or after
- count on 2
- add 10
- collect that many objects (or bundling sticks)
Roll 2 dice and:
- add them together
- calculate the difference
- find the product
- make the largest 2-digit number
Roll 3 dice and:
- make the smallest 3-digit number
- make the number that is closest to 500 (or any other chosen number)
- put them in ascending order
- show the best way to add them together
- try to find a rainbow fact or a double
These ideas can also be extended to working with larger numbers of dice. They can also be a great subsitute for other common board games to encourge children to begin working with numbers past six.
