This is a brand new genuine Babolat Pure Drive Roddick Junior Tennis Racquet, straight from the distributor with plastic still on grip. It comes strung, and grip size is 4 (0). This racquet also comes with a cover.

This junior sized version of Andy Roddick's racquet (Roddick actually plays with the Plus 27.5 inch long adult version) is stiffer and heavier than previous Pure Dirve junior racquets. The Pure Drive Roddick junior swings with the kind of heft accomplished junior players will appreciate and offers a solid feel at impact. In true Pure Drive tradition, spin potential is impressive and juniors with aggressive swings will love the response off the stringbed. At net the Pure Drive Roddick Junior retains a maneuverable feel, while offering some added punch and a crisp yet solid feel. There is plenty of pace and ample access to spin on serves. Best suited to juniors with developed strokes and technique seeking a racquet that offers some solid punch from all areas of the court.

This is the grip size 4 (size 0) version. This racquet comes pre-strung and includes a racquet cover. 

This racquet features Babolat's Cortex shaft vibration dampening system. Cortex is designed to reduce harmful racquet vibrations without filtering out the feedback required for feel. The result of filtering unnecessary vibrations is what Babolat calls a "pure feel."

If your son or daughter can play, and has some already well developed strokes and is concentrating on developing her/his technique I highly recommend this racquet.
