Bandai TV-Jack 5000 AddOn Japan Pong Console Boxed

This is a beautiful Bandai TV-Jack 5000 AddOn console from Japan. The blue console is the second version released in 1978 which came soon after the original brown version was released in August 1978.

Everything has been tested and is in good working order. All switches, controllers, and the speakers work perfectly fine. The console has 2 games bundled in, but there is also a 3rd game included. Bandai sold individual cartridges for the system which are very, very hard to find. I think there are only 4 of 5 cartridges available for this console and I believe it was one of the first if not the first Japanese cartridge system ever made. All of the console released before the 5000 had all of their games built-in.

The console itself is in very good condition overall. It's very clean and shows little signs of use. The picture quality is very good, although it looks a bit wavy because of the camera on the flat screen TV, but that's just because of the camera. It looks like all or nearly all documents are included, including the console instructions and instructions for each game. The RF switch and power supply are also included. The top of the power supply box is missing (ripped off). The box is turned upside down in the picture.

This is a great piece of history if you're into retro Japanese gaming!
